About Me

I've always had a passion for writing. I grew up in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands, after which I studied EU law at Leiden University and the Université Paris Panthéon-Assas. I pursued a master in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.

Throughout my studies I've published opinion articles in Dutch national newspapers De Volkskrant and Trouw , worked as a journalist for Leiden University's newspaper Mare and was editor-in-chief for the College of Europe's student newspaper La Voix du Collège. In my free time I write short stories.

I'm currently exploring how I can combine my passion for writing with my knowledge about EU affairs.
